Amena looks more Vicuña than alpaca. Besides the
phenotype appearance of color pattern, head and almond
shape eyes she has that very dense, soft high frequency
crimp typical of Vicuna fleece. Her crias have had
incredible BRIGHTNESS with 17.7 micron and a brown with
19 micron ROYAL SOFTNESS. Her 2008 daughter Angel may be
the best ever born to our farm. Her cria Bacchas, has
17.4 micron. With Amena's ability to throw ELITE soft
Crias, we are breeding her this year to David who will
bring his exceptional density and character to her soft
and brightness, whatever color, this cria should be the
best yet.
Amena is a member of our foundation herd for her
ability to constantly produce exceptional strong,
healthy, fine crias. We would let her go to a good farm
in need of improving their softness for a very
reasonable price.
